    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    This position involves working in a warehouse environment that services the Denver area, shipping out electrical wire, components, and large equipment to service technicians. The Warehouse Worker will be responsible for selecting specific parts and orders for shipment, reading shipping labels, and placing them at the shipping dock using a hand pallet jack.

    Responsibilities

    + Select specific parts and orders for service technicians.

    + Read and follow shipping labels accurately.

    + Place selected items at the shipping dock for loading.

    + Operate a hand pallet jack efficiently.

    + Adhere to a consistent work schedule with potential overtime of 50-55 hours per week.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly.

    + Basic math skills, such as simple addition.

    + Comfortable working in a loud, industrial environment.

    + Ability to work purposefully without distractions.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in construction, landscaping, or warehouse environments is beneficial.

    + Forklift experience is advantageous but not required.

    + Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced setting.

    Work Environment

     

    The Warehouse Worker will be part of a team of 15 employees in an industrial distribution environment. The workspace is subject to temperature variations, being hot in the summer and cold in the winter due to large bay doors. The dress code requires steel-toed boots and jeans without holes, ensuring safety and professionalism.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brighton, Colorado.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
