Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Associate to join our team. This role involves unloading metal automotive parts into machines and performing quality checks to ensure products meet specifications. The position requires physical work, including lifting parts weighing between 20 to 45 lbs every 2-3 minutes.

Responsibilities

+ Unload metal automotive parts into machines and ensure they are clamped down securely.

+ Perform quality checks on products and ensure proper labeling and placement in bins according to part numbers.

+ Load parts for processing, with robots handling the unloading and stacking.

+ Work effectively in a physically demanding environment, handling parts weighing up to 40 lbs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in physical work environments, such as construction, farming, or landscaping.

+ Ability to lift and move parts weighing 25-40 lbs frequently.

+ Experience in assembly, manufacturing, or machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Previous experience in metal machining or similar manufacturing settings is advantageous.

Work Environment

The work takes place in a manufacturing setting known for being loud and busy, with metal machining processes. Be prepared for a physically demanding role with varying shift hours, including day, afternoon, and midnight shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Port Huron, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
