Job Title: Forklift Operator

Job Description

This role involves operating equipment for 80-90% of your shift within a warehouse setting, focusing on storing and shipping out raw materials.

Responsibilities

+ Operate sit-down forklift for most of the shift.

+ Pick and load orders efficiently.

+ Load and unload trucks.

+ Receive and put away goods.

+ Use RF system for picking tasks.

+ Lift up to 50 lbs periodically.

Essential Skills

+ Standup reach truck certification with 2 years of experience.

+ Experience in RF system picking.

+ Ability to operate in a warehouse environment, including pick/pack tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a highly intensive and physical work environment, preferably in manufacturing sectors like food, pharma, or chemicals.

+ Ability to operate a stand-up forklift.

Work Environment

The position offers two shift options: Monday-Friday from 6:00am-2:30pm and 9:00am-5:45pm, providing a consistent 40-hour work week. You will work in a food manufacturing environment that adheres to CGMP and HAACP guidelines. Proper attire includes work boots, no jewelry, and appropriate hair netting. The warehouse employs about 20 associates, creating a collaborative and dynamic workplace.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pennsauken, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
