Job Title: Structural Welder
Job Description
We are seeking skilled structural welders to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in fabricating and welding structures using Mig and Flux methods. Your ability to read blueprints, accurately measure, and set the correct ampage/voltage on welding machines is essential. Additionally, you will grind welds and perform welding in the 3G (vertical) position.
Responsibilities
+ Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
+ Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
+ Set up components for welding according to specifications, such as cutting material with powered saws to match measurements.
+ Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
+ Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
+ Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions, including vertical, horizontal, or overhead.
+ Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
+ Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Mig and Flux welding.
+ Ability to weld in the 3G (vertical) position.
+ 2+ years of structural welding experience.
+ Ability to read blueprints and tape measures.
+ Knowledge of setting ampage/voltage on welding machines.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in fabrication and production environments.

Work Environment
Work in a structured environment with options for both day and night shifts. Day shift runs from 5am-3:30pm, and night shift from 5pm-4:30am, Monday through Friday. Our facilities prioritize safety and efficiency in all operations.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr.
