    Description

    The CES Manager works with clients in the CES division to assist them in finding employment in the community. This is done by working with county case managers, Department of Vocation Rehabilitation, local business, families and guardians of clients. They will also manage/supervise staff and the operations of the CES Department. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: client satisfaction, employee development, community involvement, consumer rights and care, DVR relations and compliance, and supervision.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DESIRED OUTCOMES:

    + Contacts community based employers, as an employment consultant to secure paid employment and volunteer educational opportunities for referred individuals.

    + Researches and recommends community employment sites and activities, completes vocational assessments, conducts site evaluations and provides follow up as indicated.

    + Conducts career exploration and vocational opportunities by reaching out to employers and matching employer needs with individuals goals.

    + Assist Community Employment Services clients with activities such as: completing job applications and interviews, and providing training of work skills, work related Educational Information (Americans with Disabilities Act), appropriate behaviors and social interaction within the guidelines of Clarity Care’s positive proactive philosophy.

    + Provide on-site support to workers and employers.

    + Coordinate transportation for workers.

    + Case management services to include maintenance of progress notes, contact logs, and other required documentation.

    + Maintain accurate documentation of services according to policies and procedures.

    + Act as back-up job coach as needed.

    + Market and develop the Community Employment Services Division of Clarity Care.

    + Performs orientation, training, guidance, and service delivery coordination of staff.

    + Ensures authorization and compliance for payment of services.

    + Develops and maintains training material for new staff in areas of Managed Care, County, State and Federal laws, regulations and organization policies and contractual obligations of funders.

    + Responsible for planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of services provided by Clarity Care CES.

    + Sells program to primary funders including, but not limited to, DVR, MCOs, Counties and Private Pay sources.

    + Maintain and strengthen relationships with primary funders of services including DVR and MCOs.

    + Develop and implement clear and measurable short and long term goals, operating procedures, and business plans to achieve the agency’s growth goals.

    + Serve as a facilitator/member of lean process improvement projects.

    + Schedule Job Coaches and Case Managers to fill staffing vacancies, meet client needs and to maintain staffing requirements.

    + Responsible for renewing DVR Service Agreement contract
