Description We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team in Tonawanda, New York. In this position, you will play a vital role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions for 40-50 clients with accuracy and efficiency.

• Handle invoice posting, managing 20-50 invoices daily while ensuring proper documentation.

• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing inquiries promptly.

• Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to support daily accounting and administrative tasks.

• Learn and adapt to company-specific software through provided training.

• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of precision to maintain accurate financial records.

• Support billing operations by preparing and distributing invoices in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless financial operations and adherence to deadlines.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance workflow efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

• Strong skills in invoice processing and billing.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Experience with account reconciliations is a plus but not mandatory.

• Willingness to learn new software and adapt to company-specific systems.
