Description We are looking for an Accounting Supervisor to oversee and manage key financial processes within our organization. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles and leadership skills to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations. The position is based in Coldwater, Michigan.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.

• Coordinate and support financial statement audits, providing required documentation and resolving inquiries.

• Reconcile accounts regularly to maintain accuracy and compliance with financial standards.

• Prepare and review journal entries to support financial reporting and operational needs.

• Monitor and enforce adherence to accounting policies and procedures.

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in accounting operations.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment on financial matters and reporting.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering growth and development. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting management or supervisory roles.

• Strong expertise in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Familiarity with financial statement audits and regulatory compliance.

• Proficiency in account reconciliation and journal entry preparation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and leadership abilities.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.
