    Description

    Our client, a dynamic and growing corporate services organization, is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated HR Assistant to join their human resources team. This position offers an opportunity to learn, grow, and build a long-term HR career in an environment that values collaboration, compliance, and employee engagement.

     

    As the HR Assistant, you’ll support daily operations across onboarding, compliance, payroll administration, and benefits coordination. You’ll act as a trusted liaison between employees and the HR department — maintaining confidentiality and professionalism while helping the company’s people-first culture thrive.

     

    What You’ll Do

     

    + Assist in the recruitment process, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, and scheduling interviews.

    + Coordinate onboarding and new hire paperwork, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements.

    + Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HRIS data.

    + Support payroll processing, timecard verification, and benefits enrollment.

    + Help manage leaves of absence, FMLA, workers’ comp, and unemployment claims.

    + Assist with performance review tracking and training logistics.

    + Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support.

    + Participate in employee engagement and wellness initiatives.

    Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred.

    + 1–2 years of HR or administrative experience.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with HRIS platforms.

    + Excellent attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.

    + Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

    + Enthusiasm for HR and employee development.
