    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Systems Administrator to join our non-profit organization in Denver, Colorado. This role is integral to maintaining and optimizing IT infrastructure, encompassing both on-premise and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to ensure system performance, security, and scalability while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and resolve technical challenges.

    Responsibilities:

    • Administer and optimize Windows Server and Linux systems, ensuring reliability and performance.

    • Manage virtual environments, including VMware vSphere/ESXi, and oversee virtual machine provisioning.

    • Configure and maintain storage solutions and backup systems such as Veeam and Commvault.

    • Support and maintain network devices, firewalls, VPNs, and monitoring tools to ensure secure connectivity.

    • Oversee Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.

    • Assist with cloud deployments and monitoring in platforms like Azure and AWS, ensuring compliance with security standards.

    • Automate workflows using scripting languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash to enhance system efficiency.

    • Deploy and manage endpoint protection tools, ensuring robust cybersecurity measures.

    • Collaborate on IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning.

    • Provide troubleshooting support for escalated technical issues and maintain detailed documentation.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

     

    • 3–7 years of experience in systems administration, with a focus on Windows/Linux servers and virtualization.

    • Proficiency in managing cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS.

    • Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.

    • Knowledge of backup tools, endpoint protection solutions, and cybersecurity compliance standards.

    • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines is preferred.

    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

    • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, AWS, or Azure are highly desirable. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
