    Description

    On behalf of our pharmaceutical manufacturing client, we are seeking a detail-oriented and driven EDI Integration Specialist with hands-on experience in Boomi and a strong understanding of EDI standards and protocols. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and is eager to grow within the EDI space.

     

    Schedule: Full-time | Remote | 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM CST

     

    Duration: 6-month contract-to-hire

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Configure and test EDI transactions (e.g., 850, 810, 856) with external trading partners.

    + Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transmissions, resolving mapping, data integrity, and protocol issues.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into EDI configurations.

    + Maintain documentation for data mappings, communication protocols, and technical specifications.

    + Provide daily support for EDI processes, ensuring timely issue resolution.

    + Conduct integration testing with partners and vendors.

    + Support system updates and enhancements for EDI tools and platforms.

    + Contribute to ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

    Requirements

    Skills:

    + 2+ years of relevant experience in EDI and business applications.

    + Hands-on experience with the Boomi Platform.

    + Familiarity with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT) and transmission protocols (AS2, FTP, SFTP).

    + Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

    + Ability to read, build, and run SQL queries.

    + Understanding of the full project lifecycle and change management processes.

    + Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

    + Eagerness to learn and grow within the EDI space.

    + Experience with ECS/Delta.

    + Exposure to ERP systems.

    + Basic scripting knowledge.

    + Familiarity with helpdesk/ticketing systems.
