Description

We are looking for a meticulous and adaptable Senior Data Entry Clerk on a contract basis for a client in Kansas City, Missouri. In this role, you will be responsible for more than just entering data—you will analyze, categorize, and maintain accurate records while ensuring data integrity throughout various projects. This position requires critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to shift priorities seamlessly as tasks evolve.

This position will be 30 HOURS PER WEEK- 10am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday ON-SITE!

Responsibilities:

• Accurately input and organize data into designated systems while identifying trends and assigning appropriate categories.

• Perform data cleanup and ensure compliance with organizational standards across student records.

• Analyze system-generated reports to identify inconsistencies, gaps, or missing information.

• Take corrective actions to update accounts and resolve issues based on defined processes.

• Monitor data within systems like Banner, addressing discrepancies and maintaining accuracy.

• Adapt to changing project priorities and manage a combination of repetitive and unique tasks.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure data organization aligns with expectations.

• Escalate issues or seek clarification proactively to maintain workflow efficiency.

• Adhere to established procedures while suggesting improvements for enhanced process effectiveness.

• Support team efforts in maintaining clean and accurate data across all systems.

Requirements • Proven ability to identify patterns, errors, and inconsistencies in large datasets.

• Strong analytical skills and critical thinking to assess and categorize information effectively.

• Proficiency with data entry software and systems; experience with Banner is highly desirable.

• Flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and shifting project priorities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proactive approach to seeking clarification.

• Detail-oriented and process-driven, capable of following established workflows precisely.

• Prior experience in data auditing, cleaning, and categorization processes.
