Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Taylor, Texas. This role is integral to ensuring accurate financial management and compliance within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting practices, particularly in the construction industry, and demonstrate exceptional analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and analysis of budgets to ensure effective financial planning.

• Monitor and track costs to maintain accurate records and identify potential savings.

• Generate comprehensive financial reports to support business decisions and compliance.

• Process invoices and manage accounts payable with precision and timeliness.

• Oversee contract administration to ensure adherence to terms and financial obligations.

• Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

• Conduct in-depth cost analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

• Develop accurate financial forecasts to guide strategic decisions.

• Execute month-end close processes, including general ledger maintenance and journal entries.

• Perform account and bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Proven experience in accounting within the construction industry.

• Proficiency in accounting software and tools.

• Strong skills in financial analysis and reporting.

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Acute attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial processes.

• Knowledge of general ledger management and reconciliation procedures.
