The Role
In this position, you will lead Logitech's Global Physical Security, Executive Protection and Workplace Health and Safety programs, focusing on safeguarding employees, the Logitech leadership team, facilities, and assets. Reporting directly to the Global Head of Workplace Experience (WPE), you will serve as a key member of the WPE leadership team. This role combines strategic responsibilities with hands-on execution, often requiring you to operate independently and take initiative to deliver results.

1. Physical Security Strategy
+ Executive Protection: Design, Develop and Implement executive protection program from the ground up.
+ Journey Map: Develop a 3-year maturity model and implementation plan for the physical security function.
+ Risk Profile Assessment: Analyze Logitech’s physical security risks, create a company risk profile and benchmark against industry best practices.
+ Workforce Plan: Design Logitech’s Global Physical Security and Health and Safety programs including the workforce plan, tools, processes, and key metrics.
+ Program Evolution: Adjust Logitech’s physical security program to accommodate changing business requirements.
2. Global Security Operations
+ GSOC Expansion: Expand services and impact of Logitech’s GSOC to include monitoring global events and alerting the BCP core team, in addition to the day-to-day oversight of the external operator.
+ Security Incidents: Lead the response to security incidents, coordinating with internal teams and external agencies to ensure timely and effective resolution.
+ Support Company Strategy: Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.
+ Projects and Programs: Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
4. Policies, Procedures and Metrics
+ Reports & Metrics: Prepare and present security reports and metrics to senior leadership, highlighting trends, incidents, and areas for improvement.
+ Policies: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, processes, and controls to support the global Logitech physical security program.
+ Audits & Investigations: Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with security standards and regulations.
+ Business Continuity Planning (BCP): Participate in BCP tabletop exercises and situational simulations to proactively identify and solve for any business resiliency gaps.
3. People & Partnerships
+ Vendor Selection: Oversee selection process for external security provider(s), including the global security guard force, and ongoing monitoring of their delivery of services.
+ Training Programs: Oversee a comprehensive training program for physical security staff to ensure they are up-to-date with current security procedures, technologies, and best practices.
+ Single Point of Contact: Act as an internal and external ‘point of contact’ for all physical security matters. Serve as the primary escalation point for security staff regarding any incidents or issues requiring a policy directive from Logitech, ensuring appropriate and timely guidance on how to proceed.
5. Access Control System (ACS)
+ Fit for Purpose: Ensure that the installed security infrastructure and software applications are appropriate to manage the risk and operations of Logitech facilities.
+ Ops Issues: Collaborate with third-party security and integration vendors, the internal IT Dept. and WPE’s Digital team to address operational issues and ensure that the existing security infrastructure and systems are maintained and operational at all times.
+ System Modifications: Leverage WPE Digital Team for any custom system integrations with other tools and platforms, with a dedicated Jira ticket for all requests.
+ Innovation: Stay connected to new technologies and evaluate appropriateness for Logitech.
+ Capital Projects: Contribute to and support capital security projects to extend the central access control, Closed Circuit TV systems, and intrusion systems to additional Logitech offices.
+ Investigations: Oversee the physical security portion of investigations of reviewing and analyzing physical security records, including badge access logs, CCTV footage, and alarm system reports, to support internal inquiries and incident resolution.
Emergency Response, Crisis Management & Business Continuity
+ Work with HSS, WPE, Legal, Functional teams, and Office Leads on emergency response and loss prevention, crisis management, and business continuity events.
+ Play a key role in San Jose emergency response and crisis management incidents, ensuring leadership and operational support BCP exercises and simulations globally.
Key Technical Qualifications
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and behaviors to our team:
+ Minimum of 8+ years experience working in the Physical Security industry in a supervisory or management capacity
+ Service-oriented mindset
+ Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with senior management and key stakeholders
+ Demonstrated detailed knowledge of GSOC operations and the security infrastructure for a global organization
+ Demonstrated knowledge and expertise of access control and closed circuit TV systems and applications
+ Proven experience in developing and implementing training programs for security personnel
+ Strong background in incident response and investigation, with the ability to lead and document investigations effectively
+ Familiarity with international security standards and best practices, such as ISO 27001 and SOC 2 (is a plus)
Educational Requirements
+ Associate Degree in criminal justice, security management or other security, or emergency management disciplines preferred
This position offers an annual base salary typically between $ 91000 and $ 139000. In certain circumstances, higher compensation will be considered based on the business need, candidate experience, and skills.
