We are currently searching for a Data & Information Systems Intern to help revolutionize our laboratory operations. This role is a unique opportunity for a detail-oriented, technically skilled student to improve our data management practices, streamline workflows, and prepare our testing laboratories for the implementation of advanced AI and automation technologies.

As a Data & Information Systems Intern, you will take on tasks such as:

+ Analyzing and standardizing lab data to ensure quality and AI readiness;

+ Mapping and improving lab processes to identify efficiency opportunities;

+ Assisting with Lab Information Management System (LIMS) optimization;

+ Contributing to AI/automation readiness assessments and pilot projects;

+ Documenting findings and creating clear reports; and

+ Collaborating with lab and IT staff on process improvements.

Position Requirements:

+ Current student pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Lab Science, Business, or related field

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ Commitment to data integrity, accuracy, and ethical data handling

+ Experience with Excel, Power BI, or similar tools preferred

+ Physical Requirements : Ability to type, write, speak, see, and hear with or without modification/reasonable accommodation.

Details:

+ Hours : Between 8-20 hours weekly* during school year. 40 hours weekly in summer 2026.

+ Location: In-person at headquarters in Findlay Township (near Pittsburgh International Airport)

+ Pay : $15/hour
