    Job description:

    Short Description:

    + Interviews will be onsite. Location TBD after candidate screening.

    + Candidates will work onsite in Franklin or Madison County.

    Description:

    ODRC expects the network (firewall) engineer to be extremely well rounded in:

    + leading the design and architecture of Next Generation Firewall solutions tailored to meet the organizations security and business requirements.

    + Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective firewall configurations.

    + Implementing and deploying NGFW solutions based on industry’s best practices in the industry, ensuring high levels of security, availability, and performance.

    + Reviewing and updating firewall policies to address emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

    + Designing, configuring, and maintaining IPSEC VPN tunnels to establish secure communication channels between remote offices, third-party partners, and cloud environments.

    + Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to VPN connectivity and performance.

    + Implementing Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) to enhance network segmentation and isolation.

    + Configuring and managing Border Gate-way Protocol (BGP) to facilitate efficient and scalable routing within the organizations network infrastructure.

    + Collaborating with IT teams, security analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of NGFW solutions.

    Key Skills:

    FTD Firewalls (FTD onASA5525-x, FTD on firepower 2130, firewall 3120 Threat defense, firepower 1120with FTD, firewall 3110 Threat defense), ANS Cloud Firewalls. Very knowledgeable of managing Cisco Meraki switches is a plus.

    Required Skills:

    + Implementing and deploying NGFW solutions based on industry’s best practices in the industry, ensuring high levels of security, availability 10 Years

    + Designing, configuring, and maintaining IPSEC VPN tunnels to establish secure communication channels 10 Years

    + Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to VPN connectivity and performance 10 Years

    + Implementing Virtual Routing and Forwarding (VRF) to enhance network segmentation and isolation 10 Years

    + Configuring and managing Border Gate-way Protocol (BGP) to facilitate efficient and scalable routing within the organizations network infrastructure 10 Years

    + Experience with FTD Firewalls 10 Years

    + Experience with ANS Cloud Firewalls 10 Years

    Highly Desired Skills:

    + Very knowledgeable of managing Cisco Meraki switches
