Hot Line Coordinator

Join Unity House of Troy’s Domestic Violence Program as a Domestic Violence Hotline Coordinator. In this role, you will assist callers utilizing the New York State Domestic and Sexual Violence Hotline and the PREA Hotline, providing crucial support and resources to those in crisis.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist callers on the PREA and Domestic Violence hotlines with empathy and professionalism.
+ Respond to victims seeking information, connecting them to appropriate services and resources.
+ Provide emotional support and crisis intervention.
+ Facilitate linkages and referrals to supportive services.
+ Complete contract and regulatory compliance activities as required.
+ Foster a workplace culture of inclusion and belonging.
Requirements:
+ Minimum one year of experience working with victims of domestic violence or similar populations.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
+ Valid and clean New York State driver’s license required.
+ Reliable transportation necessary.
+ Bilingual candidates preferred.
