Job Description
We are looking for a **Quality Assurance Analyst** to be responsible for reviewing project expectations, creating test cases and acceptance criteria, executing tests, and evaluating and documenting results. This position will be a **full-time contract** role and primarily **onsite** in Trenton, New Jersey.
What You’ll Do
+ Create test cases and acceptance criteria
+ Execute test cases under varying circumstances
+ Document and evaluate test results
+ Detect, log, and report program bugs
+ Track defects and troubleshoot errors
+ Create test procedures and training materials
+ Identify and implement appropriate testing strategies
+ Collaborate with project team members on development, customer issues, and security requirements
+ Conduct functional and non-functional testing to ensure systems meet desired specifications
What You'll Need
Required:
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in a related technical field
+ 5+ years of experience in quality assurance of software systems
+ Experience with Agile development methodologies
Preferred:
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
+ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Physical Demands
+ Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
+ Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time, with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
+ Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
The pay range for this position is $40 - $48 per hour (USD). Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave as provided by applicable law.
