We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Visualization Strategist to lead strategic data initiatives, develop advanced analytics solutions, and deliver impactful visualizations that drive sound decision-making. This senior-level role requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional client engagement skills. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor who can translate complex business challenges into actionable insights.
The position is a hybrid role and in-person work will be conducted on the client site in Arlington, VA. Candidates must be located in the National Capital Region.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Serve as a senior strategist in data analytics and visualization initiatives.
+ Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
+ Guide clients and internal stakeholders in defining data-driven goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
+ Lead the design and implementation of scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.
+ Build and maintain advanced dashboards, reports, and data models.
+ Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions to promote BI adoption.
+ Provide expert guidance on data governance, visualization best practices, and data strategy.
+ Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
+ Design and develop intuitive and impactful visualizations tailored to diverse audiences.
+ Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting solutions.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams including cyber analysts, stakeholder engagement specialists, program management analysts and business operations teams.
Required Qualifications:
+ U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).
+ Ability to clear basic security and background check (required for role).
+ 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related fields.
+ 3+ years of hands-on experience with dashboard development and data visualization.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Background in consulting or professional services environments with excellent communication and client engagement skills.
+ Proven ability to lead strategic data initiatives and deliver client-facing solutions.
+ Strong consulting skills with the ability to engage stakeholders and design solutions.
+ Expertise in data modeling and performance optimization.
+ Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker Studio, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
+ Experience in change management and driving adoption across organizations.

**Pay Range** - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$89,203.00 - $151,646.00
