    Job Title: Inventory PlannerJob Description

     

    This position plays a pivotal role in the company's success by leading the development of inventory forecasts for assigned business units. These forecasts drive planning processes that support the attainment of sales forecasts and established customer service objectives.

    Responsibilities

    + Set inventory strategies and service level strategies; recommend optimum inventory levels and provide options to trade off cost vs. service level targets.

    + Partner with cross-functional teams to create strategies and implement assortment plan changes that reduce waste and increase margin.

    + Identify opportunities to improve store sales and implement appropriate inventory strategies through analysis; recommend store-focused solutions to meet store sales and financial targets.

    + Use experience, insights, and data to anticipate trend shifts and put preventative measures in place.

    + Coordinate with others in response to multiple, competing demands to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.

    + Understand necessary audience, including leaders, and tailor communication to promote collaborative responses.

    + Gather inputs from cross-functional teams to craft collaborative messaging that accurately conveys complex situations.

    Essential Skills

    + 3-5 years of experience in a supply chain and planning environment.

    + Strong attention to detail and communication skills (both written and verbal).

    + Knowledge of inventory planning, replenishment planning, and store allocation processes.

    + Analytical knowledge, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate.

    + Quantitative and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    + Capability to work independently and in ambiguous environments.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Oracle BI, O9 or IMS.

    + 4-year degree in supply chain or related business field.

    + Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and presenting.

    + Familiarity with ERP systems, CPG, Ariba, and supply chain management.

    Work Environment

    The role offers a hybrid work model with 3-4 days onsite at the SSC. The team environment is supportive and collaborative, with a focus on work-life balance. The role involves exciting work with local partnerships and is central to the company's operations, providing meaningful and technical tasks.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, Washington.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
