Your role at Clorox:
This role partners closely with the S&OE Manager and Inventory Planners to manage the short-term supply and demand horizon. The position leads the operational execution of key work areas, including Away From Home Planning, International WOW, KPI management and gap closure. In addition, the role supports the enhancement of inventory planning standards, capability development, and reporting for Food and Burts.
In this role, you will:
Operational Planning
+ **Scenario Planning & Execution:** Away from Home Food Planning, partnering with network planning on scenarios & recommending supply choices/trade-offs given new business progress against R&Os
+ **Lead Process Adherence:** Lead international WOW & cross-team meetings to ensure we are driving process adherence and actively discussing metrics (focus FA/bias); documenting drivers and action plans
+ **Operational Leadership:**
+ Own Gap Closure, Triangle & Plant Priority Calls for Foods & Co-lead Burt’s, partnering across planning to ensure clarity on prioritization to deliver plans and documenting any problem statements or choices needed by Squad/LT
+ KPI Accountability: Tracking and driving root cause identification and action plans working cross-functionally
+ Execute D&D actions: NODD creation development
+ **S&OE Support:** Own Supply Narrative & Inventory update as part of weekly S&OE for Burt’s & Food
Finished Goods Inventory Management
+ **Inventory policy mgmt for Anchor Segment:** Ensure availability of finished goods within 0-2 month time horizon by managing inventory at the item level, including select customization items, across mixed RDC network with the focus to maximize shipments at optimal service. Responsible for assessing and providing feedback to Network Planning team to fine tune inventory policy and ensure parameters are optimally set.
+ **Inventory policy gaps:** Proactively leverage alert system in Rapid to manage inventory gaps in conjunction with providing feedback to NP team to assess if there is a broader change to the inventory policy.
+ **Inventory rebuilding:** Recast near-term inventory rebuild plans for finished goods as needed due to fluctuations on supply or demand vs. S&OE plan, in alignment with the S&OE Mgr.
+ **Time-sensitive Issue resolution:** Monitors forecast consumption, case fill, and inventory health metrics at an item / customer level to identify time-sensitive gaps and develop a solution to address
+ **Item transitions:** Execute item transitions and new item introductions, managing pipe fill of distribution network, end-of-life inventory run-out plans, and customer inventory resets
+ **Inventory data:** Stewards item location level inventory settings / master data to enable systemic management of inventory. Understands the ATP, Master Data and PPDS settings and their potential impact to delivering the plan; recommends action plans to mitigate risks
Cross-Functional Collaboration
+ **Set Standards of Work & Coach Inventory Planners** : Owns Inventory Planner Capability & Skill development; establishes best practices/standards of work including development of new reporting tools.
+ **Inventory risk escalation:** Identifies and escalates risks in meeting anticipated inventory needs at an item / customer level to S&OE Manager and helps identify specific mitigation tactics for consideration
+ **Production plan adherence:** Works closely with Manufacturing to ensure timely execution of production plans
+ **Customer ops:** Primary POC for the Customer Ops team in managing customer / item level issues associated with customer orders and in managing systemic transitions of items through lifecycle
+ **Deployment coordination:** Works with Deployment / Logistics team to monitor and sense check whether inventory is being distributed properly across the network
+ **Capacity input provider:** Acts as main interface with Manufacturing Mgrs., Network Planning Mgr, Distribution, and Transportation teams on required short-term capacity
+ **Allocation:** Collaboration with Sales team as needed on customer allocation
What we look for:
+ 4+ years of industry experience, CPG / fast moving consumer preferred
+ BA or equivalent in Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Science, or Predictive Analytics
+ Critical thinking: Ability to manage across multiple different inventory mgmt. variables to maximize service levels
+ Strong problem solving: Ability to proactively recognize gaps and develop and implement creative solutions to address
+ Analytics / data proficiency: Ability to analyze data, trends, system outputs and the relationship among different variables to understand their implications on inventory policy management. Ability to derive insights and driving actions based on these insights.
+ Customer Operations: Exposure to customer operations with capacity to be able to understand and respond to changes in demand drivers and order patterns
+ Supply chain operations: Strong understanding of E2E supply chain, potential tradeoffs, and impact on short term execution
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to act fast in a fast-paced environment and rapidly prioritize and adapt to change
+ Strong communication skills
+ Ability to network cross-functionally and influence without authority
+ Leads with Intellectual curiosity / tenacity
+ Creativity in problem solving

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
•Zone A: $88,700 - $165,900
•Zone B: $81,300 - $152,100
•Zone C: $73,900 - $138,300
