About the Role

Our client is hiring Battery Technicians for a large-scale UPS battery swap project. This is a traveling, labor-intensive, entry-level opportunity ideal for individuals eager to break into the DC Power and Data Center industry. No prior experience is required—comprehensive training will be provided.

Responsibilities

+ Travel to various data center sites in and around Pittsburgh

+ Replace approximately 9,000 UPS batteries (each weighing 110–120 lbs)

+ Work within data center environments and central office telecom sites

+ Use basic hand tools for installation and removal

+ Maintain compliance with drug, BGC, and vaccination requirements

• Qualifications

+ Must reside within 30 miles of Pittsburgh

+ Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions

+ comfortable with heavy lifting

+ Reliable personal vehicle required for travel

+ Mileage reimbursement provided

+ Willingness to travel extensively

Schedule & Compensation

+ Work Hours: 1st shift (with potential for 1–2 hours of daily OT)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
