Pay Rate: $19/hour
Overview:
A leading provider of tax reporting software is hiring five seasonal Technical Support Specialists to assist customers. These roles are ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills and some technical experience, looking to gain valuable IT support experience.
• Desktop Support (3 Positions)
These roles involve remote customer support focused on software installation and data import assistance.
Note: “Desktop” refers to the name of the software, not traditional desktop hardware support.
Requirements:
+ 6+ months of IT experience (school, internship, or professional)
+ Strong communication and troubleshooting skills
Web Chat / Phone Support (2 Positions)
These roles support customers post-installation, helping resolve issues via live chat and phone.
Requirements:
+ Customer service experience
+ Ability to troubleshoot and guide users through technical issues
Primary Responsibilities:
+ Respond to inbound/outbound calls, emails, and chats to assist with account creation, login issues, and product walkthroughs
+ Troubleshoot software and data import errors
+ Use internal tools and documentation to resolve product-specific inquiries
+ Escalate unresolved issues appropriately
+ Manage and update Salesforce tickets
+ Complete assigned projects and tasks
Ideal Candidate:
+ Customer-focused with a technical aptitude
+ Experience gained through school, internships, or entry-level IT roles
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume support environment

Work Environment:
+ 100% onsite
+ High call volume during December and January due to tax form deadlines
Interview Details:
+ 30-minute onsite interview with the hiring manager (late October/early November)

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
