Job Title: Construction Project Manager - HVAC

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee the HVAC component of construction projects. You will work closely with project teams and coordinate activities to ensure project goals and objectives are met within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. This role is ideal for someone looking to advance their career by specializing in prestigious components of projects, such as chillers or air handlers.

Responsibilities

+ Support the sales function by assisting with project development and estimating.

+ Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of the project, and arrange for recruitment or assignment of project personnel as necessary.

+ Supervise the preparation of plans and specifications for the design and installation of solutions in buildings and institutions.

+ Review project proposals or plans to determine time frames, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing the project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of the project.

+ Confer with project teams to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.

+ Coordinate project activities with those of government regulatory or other governmental agencies.

+ Prepare sub-contractor documents, including scope statements, plans and milestone dates, specifications, manpower needs, bonding requirements, and billing schedules.

+ Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules and project parameters, and set procedures to accomplish system objectives, involving complex contracting applications.

+ Examine and review contracts and estimates by performing risk analysis and developing risk plans.

+ Review status reports prepared by project personnel and modify schedules or plans as required.

Essential Skills

+ Project management experience in construction

+ Base knowledge of Excel.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Knowledge of HVAC equipment is highly desirable.

+ Experience with OEM equipment packages.

+ Familiarity with competitors such as Trane or JCI is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $115000.00/yr.
