    Online Banking Specialist

     

    Client: A Leading Community-Focused Bank Serving New England

     

    Pay Rate: $24–$25/hour

    Work Environment & Schedule

    + Training: 8–10 weeks onsite in Wakefield, MA

    + Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

    + Post-Training: 100% remote

    + Consistent shifts between 7:00 AM–8:00 PM

    + Preferred Availability: Occasional Saturdays, 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

    Position Overview

    Join a respected, community-first financial institution as an Online Banking Specialist and become a key player in delivering exceptional digital banking support. This role is perfect for a service-driven professional with experience in high-volume call centers—especially within financial services—who thrives on solving problems, building trust, and making a meaningful impact.

     

    As the frontline voice of the bank’s online experience, you’ll provide empathetic, accurate, and timely assistance to customers navigating digital banking tools. Your work will reflect the bank’s commitment to excellence, integrity, and community values.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide outstanding customer support via phone and email with professionalism and empathy

    + Handle 50+ inbound inquiries daily, using multiple systems with speed and precision

    + Respond to internal and external emails with clear, concise, and well-crafted communication

    + Set up new online accounts and manage updates to existing accounts

    + Serve as a liaison between customers and third-party service providers

    + Assist other call center functions as needed

    Ideal Candidate Profile

    + 1+ year experience in a high-volume call center (financial services preferred)

    + Strong problem-solving skills with a commitment to high-quality service

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities; builds rapport quickly

    + Quick learner with the ability to retain complex product and system knowledge

    + Tech-savvy and comfortable with proprietary platforms and Excel-style interfaces

    + Spanish bilingual skills are a plus

    Additional Qualifications

    + High school diploma or GED required

    + Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities

    + Self-motivated and capable of exercising sound judgment independently

    + Dependable with a strong sense of urgency in fast-paced environments

    + Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
