Hiring: Installation Technicians & Cable Technicians – Ames & Des Moines, IA + Surrounding States

We’re seeking Cable Technicians for ongoing projects across Iowa and neighboring states. Travel is required, and per diem is provided for out-of-town work.

Requirements:

+ Minimum 6 months of low voltage experience

+ Hands-on training or technical schooling will be considered

+ Must be reliable, detail-oriented, and motivated to grow in the field

Scope of Work:

+ Install data racks, cabinets, Cat6 and COAX cable, faceplates

+ Test and label cable runs

+ Set up DirecTV boxes, modems, and satellite dishes

+ Build out server/network closets

+ Work in and around school and apartment buildings (indoor/outdoor)

+ Assist with trenching and directional drilling as needed

+ Follow instructions from project leads

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
