Role Summary
We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as Director of Global Vendor Solutions, responsible for defining and executing a multi-year AI strategy that transforms business operations and vendor-managed processes. In this role, you will lead the integration of advanced AI technologies – including Microsoft’s COSMIC platform, Dynamics 365 (D365), Azure AI services, and CoPilot – into our workflows to streamline execution and drive process innovation. You will sponsor end-to-end process design, governance, and transformation initiatives across multiple teams, ensuring high efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation. Additionally, you will help drive strategic supplier partnerships to realize the AI benefits and investments at scale. This role requires a seasoned thought leader with deep expertise in people leadership, process transformation and change management – someone who can champion AI-driven transformation to achieve bold step-changes in operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Process Design & Execution:
Sponsor the design of highly complex business processes and oversee their execution across the organization, developing end-to-end workflows that improve performance and align with strategic goals. Define annual process objectives and implement solutions to ensure industry-standard measures, controls, compliance, optimal customer experience, and cost efficiency are in place.
Process Governance & Risk Management:
Provide oversight and governance for multiple complex processes, establishing robust controls and documentation. Anticipate and mitigate risks across process lifecycles (design, execution, optimization, evaluation) to ensure stability and compliance. Create a strong culture of process governance and risk awareness, holding teams accountable for maintaining process integrity and readiness.
Supplier Management & Partnerships:
Oversee AI governance of large vendor/supplier contracts for outsourced operations. Drive standardization and AI/continuous improvement of vendor-delivered processes, using performance metrics and controls to make strategic decisions. Lead collaborative initiatives with suppliers to co-innovate and achieve new performance targets, including a strategic objective of 50% reduction in BPO suppliers by FY27.
AI Strategy & Technology Deployment:
Lead the deployment of AI and automation solutions to transform operations. Leverage the Intelligent Workflow capability (COSMIC) and related Microsoft tools (Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Azure AI Services, CoPilot) to eliminate manual process steps and enable data-driven, intelligent workflows. Design and execute a multi-year roadmap for AI adoption in revenue operations and business processes, aiming to automate a major portion of process steps and greatly improve speed and quality.
Change Management & Continuous Improvement:
Champion change management efforts to successfully land process changes and new technologies across the organization. Communicate a clear future vision and roadmap to stakeholders, and ensure readiness (people, data, tools) for change. Implement continuous improvement (CI) initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Prosci, translating data insights into action to refine processes and drive ongoing benefits realization.
People Leadership:
Manage and mentor a high-performing team of technical, program, process managers and analysts. Foster an inclusive, growth-mindset culture that empowers employees, encourages cross-team collaboration, and holds individuals accountable for outcomes. Provide coaching and development opportunities, and model Microsoft’s leadership principles (Model, Coach, Care) to attract and retain top talent. Ensure the team continually adapts and learns in a rapidly changing environment, especially as AI capabilities evolve
Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience
+ OR Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience
+ OR equivalent experience
+ 4+ years people management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 15+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics)
+ OR Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics)
+ Lean, Business Process Management Professional, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Six Sigma, and/or Agile certifications.
+ 7+ years people management experience
+ Familiarity with modern enterprise technology stacks; direct experience with AI/automation platforms or ERP/CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics 365) is highly valued. Ability to quickly learn and champion Microsoft’s internal tools (COSMIC platform, PowerApps, Power BI, etc.) and Azure AI services.
+ Demonstrated capacity to develop and execute multi-year strategies or programs. Capable of setting a vision for AI-driven process transformation and aligning it with business objectives.
+ Experience managing outsourced operations or supplier performance in a governance role. Ability to navigate vendor relationships and contract negotiations, and to drive outcome-based vendor performance improvements (e.g., moving from FTE-based to outcome-based contracts enabled by automation).
+ Recognized as a change agent who has led cultural or organizational shifts. Experience rolling out new systems or processes to large user groups, with attention to change impact, training, and stakeholder engagement. Familiarity with Prosci ADKAR or other change models is a plus.
Process Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
