We are seeking a **Senior Software Engineer** to join our team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for delivering world-class experiences to our customers and partners, on-prem and cloud services.

Responsibilities

+ Overcome roadblocks to deliver work to users quickly and iteratively.

+ Design, develop, and operationalize the deployment of complex, enterprise-grade cloud services that leverage multiple services and platforms, ensuring high availability, scalability, robustness, and observability.

+ Involve in software development in Sustained Engineering projects as well as major product release.

+ Design and implement new features and refactoring of existing features.

+ Participate in issue repro, investigation, verification, code review, bug triage and other product development process.

+ Work closely with the team along with CSS/PSS to ensure high quality release of hotfix, service pack and related products.

+ Possess good troubleshooting skills, a demonstrated ability to utilize debugging technologies, knowledge of Windows Server and Client operating systems, and SQL systems architecture. **Knowledge of Configuration Manager or Intune architecture would be a plus** .

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

+ 7+ years of experience in software engineering practices, coding, and foundational knowledge in data structures and algorithms, with problem solving, debugging and analytical skills.

+ 3+ years’ experience in designand implementation of large-scalecloud services.

+ Additionally, 4+ years of experience designing, developing, or maintaining **secure software systems** , with applied knowledge of **authentication** , **data protection** , **access control** , and **secure coding practices.**

**Microsoft Cloud Background Check** :

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience.

+ Demonstrated ability to work effectively both within a team and cross-group to drive identification and resolution of issues to ship under tight deadlines.

+ Hands-on knowledge of debugging and scripting.

Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,800 - $234,700 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $158,400 - $258,000 per year.
