    The Hub Associate is responsible for unloading and sorting in our cross-dock facility. This includes receiving inbound freight from linehaul trucks, classifying freight, and palletizing freight.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):

    + Scan packages to confirm receipt

    + Move packages from pallets to assigned scan location

    + Inspect packaging for defects and damages

    + Follow company safety guidelines

    + Keep warehouse clean and organized

    QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & ABILITIES

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

     

    + Ability to use a scanner

    + Organizational and time management skills

    + Warehouse experience preferred

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with frequent interruptions from team members and independent contractors, and regular high noise level.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    + Must be able to frequently lift or carry 10-20 pounds

    + Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds

    + Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and reach with arms

    + Must be able to maneuver and access all areas of the warehouse
