    Overview

     

    The Treasury analyst is responsible for reporting on and managing the day-to-day cash transactions and assisting with the longer-term cash, debt and working capital strategies of the company. The analyst will assist with implementing and maintaining an ESG Program focusing on compliance with state and local regulations as well as improving NDCP’s environmental footprint. The analyst will also assist with the annual renewal of NDCP’s risk insurance programs.

    Responsibilities

    Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) Compliance/Reporting:

    1. Support the development of ESG metrics and prepare computations, analysis, and regular reporting.2. Develop a relevant, complete, consistent, and accurate GHG inventory that will allow for effective management of GHG emissions and communication of relevant information with stakeholders.3. Engaged in the development and preparation of the Corporation’s compliance reporting.4. Ongoing research, monitoring, and implementation of ESG reporting and compliance standards.5. Partner with management and stakeholders to identify and prioritize future trends and reporting risks

     

    Treasury:1. Maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts, including trending analysis and projection of cash inflows and outflows.2. Manage banking relationships3. Initiate and monitor cash and banking activities, including investments, account transfers, customer deposits, and interest and repayments on borrowings.4. Ensure adequate liquidity for working capital needs and provide recommendations to management on borrowing needs and/or investment opportunities.5. Preparation of analysis and reporting to support the information requirements of the rating agency, including the annual review process.6. Prepare quarterly and annual compliance certificates and supporting financial covenant calculations for management review.

     

    7. Preparation of analysis and due diligence documentation required to support debt financing activities.Risk Management:

     

    Management of external insurance brokers and preparation of annual insurance applications, including coordination and collection of data, and related analysis to ensure appropriate insurance coverage for the Corporation.

     

    Supervision ExercisedThis position has no direct reports.

    Qualifications

    1. Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field (MBA, CPA or CTP track preferred).2. Minimum 2 years’ experience in auditing, accounting or treasury.3. Demonstrated clear, concise, and succinct communication skills.4. Experience with data analysis using the Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel.

    Physical Demands• Ability to sit for extended periods of time• Ability to operate a computer keyboard and to view a computer screen for extended periods of time• Ability to lift, tug, pull up to fifteen (15) pounds
