Anticipated Part-time, Long-Term Substitute SPANISH teacher
Stoneleigh-Burnham School, an independent girls’ boarding and day school for grades 7-12, seeks an anticipated part-time, long-term substitute SPANISH teacher, starting early November 2025 - January 2026 (or later).
Located in western Massachusetts, a short drive from the Five College Consortium (UMass Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, Hampshire and Amherst College), Stoneleigh-Burnham School is the only girls’ school in New England to offer the IB Diploma Programme and attracts students from the local area and around the world. Our mission centers around helping our students discover and use their authentic voices.

The experienced Spanish teacher will cover Year One of the International Baccalaureate(IB) ab initio Spanish course and Year Two of the IB Spanish B course. Experience with the IB is preferred but NOT required.
Classes meet on the following schedule:
Monday, 12:30 - 2:15 pm
Tuesday, 2:20 - 3:10 pm
Wednesday, 8 - 9:05 am
Thursday, 2:20 - 3:10 pm
Friday, 8 - 9:05 am
Qualities and Qualifications:
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and make a positive impact on young people
• Experience in and demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion work that supports a diverse community
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
• The desire to work in a boarding school community and be invested in campus life
