Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience
+ 15 years of people management experience, including 5 years of experience as a manager of managers, leading regional/global teams
+ 10 years of digital marketing experience with advertisers, agencies, or Ad tech companies
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree or MBA
+ Experience with a broad portfolio of Google Ads products, particularly those related to Search
+ Ability to represent the company externally and act as a spokesperson for key strategic initiatives
+ Demonstrated ability to influence senior, cross-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed organization
+ Exceptional talent development skills, with a track record of building and mentoring senior leaders
About the job
As the Managing Director, gTech Ads Enablement - Search+, you will lead a team responsible for the advertiser experience and services growth across Google’s Search and Search+ ad products. You will be a key strategic partner and a unified advocate for gTech to executive leadership across GPS and Product, driving frictionless experiences that directly impact advertiser trust and business.
In this role, you will be accountable for the strategic direction, budget, and performance of a large, geographically dispersed organization, ensuring gTech Ads is positioned to unlock scale and productivity for the Search+ portfolio. This includes orchestrating global launch strategies, establishing a unified customer-centric feedback loop, driving transformational change to improve product serviceability, and building a portfolio of Search+ media and technical services. You will lead a team of senior managers, building a talent pipeline and fostering a high-performance culture.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $310,000-$432,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Lead the strategic direction and operations for the Search+ enablement portfolio, encompassing PMax, Search Bidding & Budgets, Search Creatives & Targeting, Travel, Locals, Vert, Lead Gen, Shopping & Omnichannel, and Apps team.
+ Partner directly with executive stakeholders in Product and GPS to drive process and produce roadmap improvements, acting as a unified voice for gTech Search+.
+ Orchestrate global launch strategies and drive a unified, customer-centric feedback loop to influence product improvements.
+ Serve as the executive owner for bug management, define and drive the strategic vision for resolving high-stakes issues, and transform our reactive processes into a proactive, scalable, and cross-functional system for success.
+ Drive transformational change and operational efficiency within the Search+ enablement model to enhance advertiser experiences and unlock headroom at scale.
