Minimum qualifications:
+ Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 12 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.
+ 12 years of experience in the design, construction, or commissioning of electrical systems for facilities.
+ 10 years of experience with power distribution, protection schemes, and control systems.
+ 10 years of experience with electrical codes, safety regulations, and project management principles.
Preferred qualifications:
+ Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or Professional Engineer license.
+ Experience in estimating, electrical design, operation, and commissioning of substations, switchgear, ATP/ATS, emergency power systems and their control systems, power monitoring, and electrical protection.
+ Experience with medium voltage systems.
+ Experience in design, construction, and commissioning of high voltage substations, medium or low voltage electrical distribution systems, AC/DC systems, and associated power management or SCADA tools.
+ Experience with cross-discipline teams (e.g., structural, civil, IT/Telecom, security, mechanical, architectural).
+ Experience working with data center equipment and environments with an understanding of start up/commissioning processes.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $214,000-$302,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
+ Act as the lead electrical engineer for all third-party data center projects, ensuring adherence to Google's technical standards.
+ Coordinate with third-party engineering firms, aligning project goals and providing technical recommendations on all global projects.
+ Provide subject matter expertise on power systems, including protection, controls, and low/medium/high voltage distribution.
+ Lead the technical review and evaluation of electrical designs, ensuring they meet the required power, reliability, and safety standards.
