    + 7 years of experience or familiarity with one or more of the following languages such as SQL, R, Python or C++.

Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.

     

    In this role, you will apply critical thinking and leadership skills to analyze risks and opportunities presented by GenAI models and product features, designing a responsibility strategy that balances both. You will ynthesize expertise across cross-functional teams to prioritize issues, create testing strategies, and implement risk mitigation measures. Your responsibility extends beyond launch to include post-launch monitoring and analysis for ongoing safety and emerging trends.

    The US base salary range for this full-time position is $174,000-$258,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.     Responsibilities

    + Think logically and work effectively in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment while influencing cross-functionally and cross-geographically with all levels of management

    + Function as a critical thinker and take the lead as needed.

    + Manage multiple executive stakeholders, influencing safety strategy and operational execution at all levels.

    + Make business decisions, including identifying gaps or business needs, and innovating and scaling solutions.

    + Analyze ML models performance or work on Large Language Model (LLMs) and data analytics using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
