    The **Director** **of Organic Social Media and Influencer Strategy** , will set the vision for innovative, high-impact organic social media strategies that drive firm revenue, enhance brand equity, and deepen engagement across platforms at both the corporate level and branch network level. You will develop and implement comprehensive strategies, define audience targets, and leverage competitive insights to position the firm uniquely in the market. By establishing KPIs and measurement frameworks, you will optimize strategies, deliver measurable ROI, and create meaningful impact across branch teams and millions of clients and prospects. This role demands a visionary leader with a passion for innovation and a proven ability to drive results.

     

    What you'll do...

    The Organic Social Director leads multiple key capabilities within Brand & Sponsorships including:

    + Organic Social Media Go-to-Market Strategy

    + Organic Social Strategy within Omni-Channel Planning and Journey Orchestration

    + Social Media Influencer strategy and activation

    + Innovation strategy to identify emerging social media trends

    + Audience segmentation and engagement

    + Analytics & Reporting

     

    The Director leads and directs multiple departments and teams to engage millions of prospects and clients along a multi-channel journey that propels them to become clients and deepen their wealth, maximizing in-market results.

     

    + **Organic Social Media Go-to-Market Strategy** - Lead the development and execution of highly complex, differentiated organic social media strategies that align with firm-wide business objectives, brand strategy and marketing priorities.

    + **Organic Social Strategy within Omni-Channel Planning and Journey Orchestration -** Develop and integrate social and influencer strategies into omni-channel planning to create cohesive, client-centric experiences across all touchpoints.

    + **Social Media Influencer Strategy and Activation** Develop and execute a comprehensive influencer strategy that aligns with the firm's brand values and business objectives, leveraging partnerships to amplify reach and engagement.

    + **Innovation Strategy to Identify Emerging Social Media Trends -** Lead the identification and adoption of emerging social media trends, platforms, and technologies to keep the firm at the forefront of the digital landscape.

    + **Audience Segmentation and Engagement -** Define and refine audience segmentation strategies in social channels to ensure tailored messaging and content delivery that resonates with diverse client and prospect groups.

    + **Analytics & Reporting -** Develop and oversee robust analytics and reporting frameworks to measure the effectiveness of organic social media and influencer strategies against established KPIs.

    Skills/Requirements

    What you'll need...

     

    + Bachelor's Degree and preferred Advanced Degree or Certification in related field.

    + 15+ years of experience of driving marketing KPIs through social media go-to-market strategies, channels, and personalization. Significant leadership experience with increasing levels of responsibility.

    + Proven track record of driving brand equity and business outcomes through comprehensive social media strategy (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Reddit, YouTube, etc.) including high-profile influencer partnerships, podcasts, community management, etc.

    + Significant digital and data-driven marketing background with proven in-market success having deployed integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

    + Strong analytical skills with experience overseeing in-market testing, measurement, and analysis

    + Advanced to expert capabilities in other functional marketing areas such as advertising, digital media, digital marketing including public website, direct mail, email and direct response marketing.

     

    What will make you stand out....

     

    + Series 7 & 66 and financial services experience preferred if applicable.

    **Candidates that live within in a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**

    **Current INTERNAL home-based associates:** While this role is posted as hybrid, **if selected and accepted, you may retain your home-based status** . Edward Jones intends in good faith to continue offering the role as home-based, though future business or regulatory needs may require on-site work.
