_In this role you will_

+ Lead and supervise logistics teams to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and housekeeping standards.

+ Take immediate corrective action to address unsafe working conditions and promote a zero-incident culture.

+ Build a high-performance team by modeling excellence, providing hands-on training, and coaching employees to take ownership of their roles.

+ Empower team members to resolve conflicts professionally and in alignment with company policies.

+ Manage a 12-hour shift that overlaps two daily shifts; must be available for rotating weekends and holidays.

+ Accurately complete payroll and attendance documentation for assigned employees.

+ Analyze and resolve operational issues related to logistics, material flow, and production support.

+ Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and better meet customer expectations - especially in fast-paced automotive supply chains.

+ Participate in the hiring process, including screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

+ Lead investigations into safety violations and performance issues, including disciplinary actions up to termination.

+ Coach and mentor team members to reach their full potential within a fast-paced environment.

+ Execute performance and career development discussions.

+ Motivate and challenge teams to meet aggressive KPIs and delivery targets.

+ Foster accountability and ownership at every level of the operation.

+ Commit to hiring top talent with automotive experience and potential for growth.

+ Align staffing decisions with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.

+ Create a workplace that values diversity of thought, background, and experience.

+ Promote collaboration across departments and shifts.

+ Champion a safety-first mindset where all accidents are preventable.

+ Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 14001) and internal safety protocols.

Your elements for success………

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Minimum 5 years in a leadership or supervisory role

+ Strong analytical and logistics experience in a distribution, manufacturing, or related environment

+ SAP or other ERP/WMS software experience (Preferred)

+ Bachelor’s Degree or professional certifications (Six Sigma, APICS, etc) (Preferred)

+ Proven history of leading high performing teams (Preferred)
