About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer to join our healthcare technology team supporting Point of Care and Patient Management solutions. This is a remote opportunity to work on impactful applications that improve patient outcomes and provide efficiency.
In this role, you will:
• Design and develop cross-platform applications using J2EE Full Stack technologies, Angular, React, NodeJS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment to deliver innovative software solutions tailored to the provider domain.
• Lead and contribute to the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications by implementing best practices in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve application functionality and user experience.
Work model:
This is a permanent Work from Home position. The selected candidate will operate remotely, collaborating with global teams and stakeholders through virtual channels to deliver project outcomes effectively.

What you need to have to be considered
• Strong experience in JAVA / J2EE Full Stack development
• Proficiency in Angular and/or React
• Solid knowledge of NodeJS and JavaScript
• Expertise in HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
This will help you stand out
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $81,337 to $141,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
