• Application Developer - Cloud Integration

    CTG (Reston, VA)


    CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Cloud Integration for our client in Reston, VA.

     

    **Location:** Reston, VA

    **Duration:** 4 months

    Duties:

    + Develop, implement, and maintain integration applications to support cloud migration initiatives.

    + Design and troubleshoot cloud-based solutions using a variety of integration and containerization tools such as App Connect Enterprise, API Connect, Datapower, APIGEE, Kafka, Aspera, Kong, Snaplogic, webMethods.io, Boomi, and Workato.

    + Create REST APIs and integrate with existing systems using Java and Python, applying design patterns and architectural best practices.

    + Configure and manage Documentum platform components, including Content Server, D2 (Classic, Config, Smart View), Brava, CTS, xPlore, and DFC Client.

    + Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile Scrum environments, ensuring clear communication and efficient task execution.

    + Utilize cloud infrastructure (AWS) for deployment, monitoring, and security configurations, including EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK.

    + Support DevOps processes, including Git version control, Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Jira tracking, and Tomcat/J2EE deployment.

    Skills:

    + Documentum Platform Expertise: Content Server, D2, Brava, CTS, xPlore, DFC Client

    + REST API Development with Spring Framework

    + Proficiency in Java and Python, including design patterns and software architecture

    + Cloud Infrastructure: AWS EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, SDK

    + DevOps Tools: Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, relational databases

    + Agile Scrum practices, collaboration, and self-management

    Experience:

    + Hands-on experience with cloud integration, containerization, and cloud-based architectures

    + Strong background in developing and supporting integration solutions in cloud environments

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
