CTG is seeking to fill a Security Consultant – Security Training & Content Development position for our client in Herndon, VA.

**Duration:** 4 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and deliver engaging security training modules aligned with organizational objectives.

+ Collaborate with subject matter experts, coaches, and advisors to ensure training content reflects current security best practices.

+ Host training sessions, workshops, and office hours to enhance security awareness across teams.

+ Gather and incorporate feedback from participants to continuously improve training effectiveness and content relevance.

+ Develop supporting materials such as FAQs, progress reports, and communication assets to reinforce learning outcomes.

+ Maintain a strong understanding of cybersecurity, regulatory, and risk management practices to align training with enterprise security goals.

Skills:

+ **Security Training & Content Development** – Designing, developing, and delivering security training modules.

+ **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Partnering with SMEs, coaches, and advisors to align training with best practices.

+ **Technical Proficiency** – Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, JavaScript, C++) and Microsoft Office tools.

+ **Feedback & Continuous Improvement** – Closing feedback loops and refining materials based on cohort input.

+ **Security Awareness & Communication** – Hosting sessions, office hours, and creating reports and FAQs.

Experience:

+ Proven experience developing and implementing cybersecurity training and awareness programs.

+ Demonstrated background in security consulting, risk management, or compliance.

+ Strong ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible, engaging learning content.

+ Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and collaborating with diverse teams.

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field required.

+ Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
