    **Type:** Contract

    **Job Title:** Scheduling Coordinator Assistant

    **Location:** Hemlock, MI

    _Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Hemlock, MI_

    **Pay Rate:** Based on experience

    **Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm

    **Education:** High school diploma or GED required

     

    This is an ITAR facility. Candidates must be compliant with DOD/ITAR requirements and be U.S. citizens or nationals.

    Description

    We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented **Scheduling Coordinator Assistant** to support the Operations team. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and methodical, providing administrative assistance to ensure smooth day-to-day scheduling operations. This role requires demonstrated proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and strong attention to detail.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assist with processing employee time-off requests and ensure proper documentation.

    • Input schedule updates into the system as directed by the Scheduling Coordinator.

    • Maintain accurate records of employee hours, absences, and schedule changes.

    • Help prepare and distribute schedules to employees in a timely manner.

    • Post available overtime opportunities and track responses.

    • Monitor and update scheduling boards or digital tools as needed.

    • Provide administrative support in resolving scheduling conflicts.

    • Generate basic reports and summaries for the Scheduling Coordinator.

    • Communicate schedule changes to team members as directed.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

    • Strong organizational and communication skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.

    • Experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred but not required.

    • Ability to work alternating weekends as part of a 2-3-2-day shift schedule.

    Education:

    • High school diploma or GED

    Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years of age

    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data entry, formatting, and basic functions)

    • Highly organized, structured, and methodical in work approach

    • Reliable, with strong attention to detail

    Additional Information:
