CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an **Process Engineer - Manufacturing Equipment.**
**Type:** Contract
**Job Title:** Process Engineer - Mechanical, Electrical
**Location:** Winston Salem, NC
_Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Winston Salem, NC_
**Pay Rate:** W2 hourly, **$40-$58** /hour
**Work Hours:** M-F 8am-5pm
**Education:** Bachelor's Minimum needed
Tools: RCA, Six Sigma tools used in manufacturing engineering.
Description
• Apply scientific and engineering principles to product design and quality requirements
• Ensure compatibility of products with customer applications
• Provide advanced technical support to applications engineers and customer engineering groups
• Utilize strong knowledge of engineering theories, concepts, and techniques across multiple disciplines
• Develop innovative and practical solutions to complex technical challenges
• Work independently under minimal direction, with solutions reviewed for adequacy only upon completion
• Represent the organization in frequent inter-organizational and external customer interactions
• Build and maintain strong working relationships across teams and with clients
Requirements
• Apply engineering and scientific principles to product design, applications, and quality assurance
• Provide advanced technical support to applications engineers and customer engineering teams
• Independently develop and implement innovative solutions to complex technical challenges
• Ensure compatibility between products and customer applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and represent the organization with clients and external partners
Education
• BS in Engineering or related field (minimum)
Qualifications
• 7+ years of relevant experience in applications engineering or a related technical role
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems with practical and innovative solutions
• Strong knowledge of engineering and scientific principles with general knowledge of related disciplines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience building relationships across organizations
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction while meeting objectives and deadlines
