    Teaching online undergraduate and/or micro-credentialing courses in Human Resource Development, Leadership, Interdisciplinary Studies, or Legal Studies for the School of Professional Studies degree program. Job assignment is dependent on the needs of the department.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + HR Certification from either the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) or the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI)

    + Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), such as Blackboard or Canvas

    + 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in higher education

    Faculty Qualifications:

    Terminal Degree (PhD, JD, or equivalent) in one of the following areas:

    Human Resources (HR), including a JD with relevant HR work experience

    + Leadership Studies

    + Interdisciplinary Studies

    + JD/terminal degree related to legal studies

    OR Master's Degree in one of the following areas:

    + Human Resources (HR)

    + Leadership Studies

    + Interdisciplinary Studies

    + Legal Studies or a related legal degree

    Additional Requirements:

    + Terminal or master’s degree must be conferred prior to hire.

    + Candidates holding a JD must have successfully passed a bar examination.

    + Candidates who hold a completed master’s degree in any field and have completed 18 credit hours in the above specified areas (as determined by the academic unit) will be considered.

     

    This position is classified as security-sensitive, and employment is contingent upon passing a criminal background check.
