About this Job
The mission of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center is to support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to reach treatment goals and to return to more integrated community living settings. Pinecrest Supports and Services Center specializes in the treatment of people with comorbid intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical, behavioral and psychiatric support needs.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Services Specialist 5 to assist in the daily operations of the Baker's Secret Department on Pinecrest Supports and Services grounds.
Minimum Qualifications
Three years of training or experience in providing behavioral health or developmentally disabled services or psychiatric patient care; OR
Thirty-six semester hours in education, psychology, counseling, social work, sociology, child guidance or nursing.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
+ Assist in the preparation and sale of food and beverages at the Baker’s Secret as directed by the Habilitation Instructor 3.
+ Ensure that all food is prepared and stored properly.
+ Assist with and oversee the cleaning and maintaining of Baker’s Secret and all the equipment in a clean and orderly manner.
+ Assist the Habilitation Instructor 3 in maintaining Health Department rules and standards at all times.
+ Open and close Baker’s Secret as needed.
+ Assist at cash register as needed or as directed by the Habilitation Instructor 3.
+ Report all incidents, comments, complaints, or concerns immediately to the Habilitation Instructor 3.
+ At a minimum of once a week or as directed by the habilitation Instructor3, complete a thorough inventory of Baker’s Secret, including outside freezer, making sure food items are not expired.
+ Order supplies as needed in relation to inventory, without over or under ordering supplies.
+ Confirm with the Habilitation Instructor 3 before finalizing the order.
+ Oversee the Baker’s Secret staff at all times in carrying out active treatment plans and learning based support of people who work at the Baker’s Secret.
+ Ensure that the nutritional, behavior, and physical support plans developed by the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) are implemented by staff as intended.
+ Assist the Habilitation Instructor 3 in the interviewing and selection of applicants when needed.
+ Ensure training of new employees, schedule work, and resolve problems as necessary.
+ Report and assist in investigation of all instances of alleged abuse or neglect of individuals.
+ Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor/ Administrator to support the Agency and/or the people we serve.
Position-Specific Details:
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Pass Days: Saturday and Sunday
Appointment Type: The position may be filled by Probation, Promotion, Demotion, Lateral Transfer or Detail to Special Duty. Preferences may be given to permanent classified employees of Pinecrest Supports and Services Center.
Compensation: This position has a Special Entrance Rate (SER) of $1,458.00 Bi-Weekly
