Position Purpose:
The purpose of this Research Assistant position is to support research activities related to several grant-funded projects investigating the impact of infant-early childhood mental health services on pediatric patients and their families by assisting Principal Investigators (PIs) and team members with analyzing clinical services, patient and provider satisfaction, analyzing medical claims data, grant reports and preliminary data sections for future grant applications.
Essential Functions:
Program Evaluation of Early Childhood Support Clinic at Wayne Pediatrics: Specific activities include analyzing output and outcomes data, conducting chart reviews, reporting back grant deliverables to PIs, and writing summaries of evaluation findings.
Maintain Redcap Database: Specific activities include updating and refining Redcap database, running Redcap reports and analyzing data, coaching clinicians on data entry, perform data entry and quality checks for data entry, prepare metrics and run reports.
Examine Medicaid Claims Data: Specific activities include working with team members to analyze secondary data (Medicaid claims data) and manuscript preparation for results.
Grant Reporting for Early Childhood Support Clinic at Wayne Pediatrics: Specific activities include preparing summaries and data/metrics for PIs to include in grant reports and updates.
Other duties as necessary.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Master's degree
Discipline: Psychology, Child Development
Experience: Experienced (minimum 2 years of job-related experience)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Extensive and significant knowledge regarding the following:
Infants and early childhood development.
Integrated care models within pediatric settings.
Chart review skills.
Database creation and management skills.
Basic statistics.
Grant report writing.
Strong working knowledge and experience with RedCap.
Strong knowledge and experience in research methods and IRB rules and regulations.
