    We are searching for the best talent for a **Quality Technician III.**

     

    Purpose: An individual contributor that executes routine tasks with limited supervision and more complex tasks with support. Executes day-to-day activities such as equipment setup, metrology support, and general housekeeping. Maintains good documentation practices. Performs instrument qualification/validation activities and lab investigations, and data review and metrics reporting. Identifies improvement opportunities and drives resolution.

    Key Resposibilities:

    + CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) troubleshooting, programming, and application (Calypso preferred). Position considered as Subject Matter Expert for CMM and stationary gauges for the site

    + Skilled in blueprint reading with Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T) interpretation of bonus tolerances

    + Fluent in basic measuring instruments (2D Vision systems, calipers, micrometers, optical comparators)

    + Perform Equipment Validation and Software Validation

    + Lead and deliver gauge studies (Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility, Correlation Studies, etc.)

    + Ensure visibility of risks associated with product quality, regulatory compliance, and quality systems

    + Use data to identify risks and improvement opportunities, and implements risk mitigations and process improvements with limited support

    + Assist other team members in completing tasks that are both routine and complex

    + Demonste Johnson & Johnson’s Leadership Imperatives and Credo in day-to-day interactions with team

    Qualifications / Requirements:

    + A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent is required

    + At least 5 years of related work experience is required

    + Experience working in inspection/manufacturing/operations is preferred

    + The ability to perform "hands on" troubleshooting and problem solving is required

    + Familiarity with inspection methods and techniques is required

    + Experience with Blueprint reading/literacy including GD&T is preferred

    + Strong problem solving, decision-making skills, communication and interpersonal skills are preferred

    + Ability to interact with, influence, and lead cross-functional, cross-business unit teams is required

    + Strong tactical planning and execution abilities, including strong organization skills is required

    + Experience taking initiative with innovative ways to problem solve in a fast-paced, changing business environment is required

    + Results driven, decisive, proactive, and responsive
