    Salary: $570 / Week

Become an integral part of a dynamic school community where your enthusiasm and compassion lay the groundwork for student success and your own professional growth. In this entry-level role, you’ll support classrooms, learn from seasoned educators, and witness firsthand the transformative power of encouragement and tailored instruction.

    What You’ll Do Daily

Each morning, you’ll arrive ready to make a positive impact. Your day might include:

+ Translating lesson plans into hands-on activities—whether it’s creating math manipulatives, organizing reading groups, or adapting materials for individual learners

+ Implementing behavior strategies alongside teachers to reinforce positive choices and nurture a respectful classroom culture

+ Assisting students with mobility and personal care needs—helping them navigate transitions between activities, ensuring comfort during sensory breaks, or supporting therapy routines

+ Observing student progress, taking notes, and collaborating in planning meetings to adjust learning goals and celebrate milestones

+ Building rapport through one-on-one interactions—offering encouragement before a quiz, practicing social skills at lunch, or exploring interests during free time

Why This Role Accelerates Your Education Journey

By joining our team, you’ll not only make a daily impact on students’ lives but also accelerate your own path into education:

+ Learn core teaching techniques as you co-deliver lessons, gaining insights into differentiated instruction and inclusive practices

+ Partner with special education professionals, therapists, and counselors—expanding your understanding of how to support diverse learning profiles

+ Develop soft skills in communication, patience, and adaptability—qualities that top hiring committees look for in future teachers and education leaders

+ Receive ongoing feedback and mentorship that shapes your professional portfolio and prepares you for certification programs or advanced roles

+ Cultivate a network of educators and administrators who can provide references, guidance, and opportunities as you advance

    Who You Are

Your attitude matters more than your resume. We’re seeking someone who:

+ Approaches every interaction with kindness, respect, and unwavering positivity

+ Embraces challenges as chances to learn—whether troubleshooting a new instructional tool or mediating a peer conflict

+ Communicates clearly and listens actively—building trust with students, families, and colleagues

+ Demonstrates reliability and professionalism—arriving prepared, following through on commitments, and upholding confidentiality

+ Shows a genuine curiosity about child development, educational strategies, and teamwork

    Minimum Requirements

To ensure compliance and safety, you must have:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

    + Minimum age of 18

    + CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB screening (questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray if required)

+ Current health certificate as required by contract or state

+ Clearance to meet all federal, state, and local employment standards

    Compensation, Benefits, and Growth

    Payrate: $17 – $21 per hour

    Beyond competitive pay, we offer:

+ Structured orientation and training to set you up for success on day one

+ Access to professional development workshops and in-house seminars

+ Opportunities to shadow teachers, observe therapy sessions, and deepen your skill set

+ A supportive team culture that celebrates your wins—big and small

+ Clear pathways for advancement into lead aide, classroom assistant, or certified teaching roles
