Salary: $1249 / Week

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and help patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices

+ One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred

+ Current CPR if applicable

+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations

Job Description:

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for an urgent travel assignment at a reputable facility in Clear Lake, California.

Responsibilities:

+ Provide respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures.

+ Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop patient care plans.

+ Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.

Requirements:

+ Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state of California.

+ 1+ year of clinical respiratory therapy experience preferred.

+ Ability to work overnight shifts (NOC).

Compensation:

+ Weekly Pay: $2,275

+ Taxable Income: $1,459

+ Stipends: $816 (Meals & Incidentals) + $433 (Housing)
