Amergis Educational Staffing is proud to partner with a school in Fall River, MA to hire a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a great opportunity to work alongside licensed SLPs and help students improve their communication skills in a supportive school setting.
+ Location: Fall River, MA
+ Start Date: ASAP
+ Schedule: Monday–Friday (varies by school)
+ Duration: Full 2025–2026 School Year
+ Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience
+ Provide direct therapy services to students under the supervision of a licensed SLP
+ Assist in implementing individualized speech and language goals
+ Support students in both 1:1 and small group settings
+ Document student progress and maintain accurate records
+ Collaborate with teachers, SLPs, and other school staff to support student success

+ Active SLPA license in Massachusetts
+ Experience working with school-aged children
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Ability to follow treatment plans and adapt to student needs
+ Comfortable working in a dynamic and collaborative school environment

Minimum Requirements:
+ Must be a graduate of a SLPA program with an associate’s degree, or have a bachelor’s degree in a speech-language pathology or communication disorders program
+ Successful completion of a minimum of 100 hours of supervised field work experience or its clinical experience equivalent as required by state and/or contract
+ Current certification or licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant in the State of Practice
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ One (1) year of prior professional Speech-Language Pathology Assistant experience preferred
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
