• Skilled School-based Behavioral Technicians

    Amergis (El Monte, CA)


    Salary: $23 / Hour

     

    Are you someone who connects easily with kids and thrives in a team setting? We’re looking for Behavioral Technicians to support students in the El Monte region. If you have experience with ABA and enjoy working in a school environment, this could be a great fit for you.

    What You’ll Be Doing:

    + Building strong relationships with students

    + Supporting teachers with both instruction and behavior management

    + Using ABA strategies to help students communicate and succeed

    + Collecting data (like frequency and duration) to track progress

    + Reviewing IEPs and BIPs to guide individualized support

    + Using visual tools like token boards and schedules—without needing to be asked

    + Assisting with personal care routines when needed (toileting, diaper changes, etc.)

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Comfortable working with a range of behaviors—from mild to more intensive

    + High school diploma required

    + Active CPR/BLS

    + Recent TB test

    + Ideally 1+ years working as a Behavioral Technician, Therapist, or Interventionist

    + Hands-on ABA experience (2+ years preferred)
