SUMM ARY
Experience Planners are the dream-weavers. Our team takes all of the hopes and desires for an incredible vacation and brings them to life before guests even step one foot on the grounds of the resort . You’ll experience and understand all of the activities and dining that the resort has to offer and then share these incredible experience s with the guests that you speak with on a day-to-day basis. You’ll get the opportunity to connect with guests and understand what makes the ultimate vacation for the m and the people they’re travel ing with – is it a couple, is it a family or is it a girls’ getaway? You get the chance to connect with them and dream up the ultimate vacation.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities of this position include; although are not limited to:
+ Act as a storyteller and educator to describe the resort to guests
+ Desire to connect with other people and understand what brings them joy
+ Desire to be part of high growth, fast paced business
+ Possess a positive and upbeat attitude at all times
+ Reserve activity and dining requests for guests within the Resort & local area
+ Work in a high-paced environment
+ Multi-task effectively between phone, computer, and conversation with guests with high attention to detail
+ Answer telephone calls and emails in a prescribed and professional manner
+ Provide information and assistance to guests regarding specific resort and activity information prior to arrival
+ Properly log guest requests
+ F ollow up with guests in a timely manner
+ Display effective computer literacy
+ Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS
+ High school Diploma or equivalent required
+ Minimum of two years’ experience in customer service
+ Excellent telephone etiquette and verbal and written communication skills required
+ Excellent organizational and time management skills
+ Sales background preferred
+ Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
+ Must possess a positive attitude
+ Must be willing to participate in a learning environment
+ Must integrate company values throughout all interactions
+ Must be able to quickly and effectively adapt to using new software products
+ Must be dependable and available to work within the hotel on weekends, nights and/or holidays based on business demands
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
M ost work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by hotel environmental systems. Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis. This position requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
