As a **Software Engineer II** here at Honeywell, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that enhance our products and services. You will be part of a dynamic team that drives innovation and ensures high-quality software delivery.
You will report directly to our Engineering Customer Service Manager, and you’ll work out of our Pittsford, NY location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will assist in the design, development, testing, deployment and support of customer driven software solutions that meet the unique requirements of our customers. This position will be responsible for completing projects as assigned to include custom Crystal Reports, data import and export, custom application integrations and custom database programming (SQL triggers and stored procedures). Responsibilities will also include providing support for existing customers of Lenel’s Custom Solutions, performing remote and, on-site as needed, installation of Custom Solutions-developed software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Design, develop, and test software applications in accordance with project specifications.
+ Test software prior to installation to ensure we deliver high quality solutions every time.
+ Install software on customer systems. Installation is typically installed over a remote connection, though on-site installation is possible for high security sites without an internet connection to their security network.
+ Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
+ Provide ongoing support to existing solutions.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 2+ years of experience in software development.
+ Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C# and .Net.
+ Working knowledge of SQL.

The annual base salary range for this position is $99,200 - $124,100. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
